AAPI Youth Mental Health Summit

From 2018 through 2022, suicide was the leading cause of death among Asian Americans aged 15–24, and the second leading cause of death among Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders.


DESIGN & BRAND IDENTITY

Building on these findings, the summit aimed to bring together leading experts to spark dialogue on breaking stigma, closing gaps in care, and exploring how community partners and technology are reshaping the ways young people seek and receive support. 

Design a space where AAPI community can build mental health together.

OBJECTIVE


Collaborative, fresh and inviting.


Inviting the attendees to build something together, I leveraged that collaborative feeling of a whiteboard, a space together for a team to solve problems.

I wanted to reference online tools used for collaboration used by students and young people, as this event was specifically geared to speak toward AAPI youth aged 15-24.
